Battery is the gripping series that follows the insane journey of this small-town band on the road as they navigate temptations while struggling to balance their passion for music with their personal demons running wild.

Synopsis:
Battery (Glassriver, Iceland). The year is 1998 and BATTERY is the most popular band on the Icelandic music scene, with only two hits on the radio to show for it. They are true rock stars without the money to back it up. The only married man on the road is guitarist Daniel, who is torn between two worlds. One being his childhood best friend and singer of the band, Kiddi, who drags him deeper into the chaos of the tour bus. The other is his fiancée and mother of his child, Álfrún, who is pregnant with his second child.

Meanwhile, Álfrún is on the rise behind the scenes at their record company putting Battery on the map, turning them into stars. But the bigger they get, the further Daniel seems to slip away from her... his only hope of true happiness and sanity.

Elías has been working steady as a screenwriter since 2019 when his feature script "...and Anne" garnered interest from talents such as Jesse Plemons, Jim Parsons and Issy Knopfler. He is currently putting final touches on a feature with director Baldvin Z. After working on an array of television shows for Glassriver productions, of which one is currently in production and the others slated for production in 2023, he began work on a historical drama for Truenorth productions.

Award winning Baldvin Z has been one of the most prominent directors in Iceland. He directed all 9 episodes of the critically acclaimed “Case”, 3 episodes of the hit TV series “Trapped” and with 3 feature films under his belt (Let Me Fall, Life In a Fishbowl, Jitters). His work has accumulated over 40 film awards, both international as well as 18 Edda awards (the Icelandic Film and Television Academy Awards). “Let Me Fall”, his latest film, released at Toronto Film Festival, became the second highest grossing film in Iceland’s history and “Life in a fishbowl” accumulated a record winning 12 Icelandic Academy Awards in 2015. His next directing project, Black Sands 2, is currently in production.
