Her Daughter's Mother

Her Daughter's Mother highlights the issues of fertility, motherhood, and trust in a thrilling yet entertaining way. The story has become increasingly relevant, and it's told through a female point of view. With an exceptional writer (Melissa Bubnic - Shameless, Hollyoaks) and executive producer (Sebastian Mlynarski - Holy Heist) already attached, this series has the potential to be a massive hit.

Synopsis:
LANA (37), an art curator at the MET, is desperate to become a mother. After a decade of unsuccessful fertility treatments, she and her partner TYLER (39), a professor at Columbia, decide to try anonymous egg donation. Days before the embryo transfer, Tyler declares he no longer wants to go through with it. A devastated Lana overrides Tyler’s objections and secretly proceeds with the transfer, becoming pregnant.

On a New York subway, Lana spies the egg donor who she recognizes from a photo. Circumstances bring the two women face-to-face and an unexpected friendship is born. KATYA (21), a Bulgarian student studying at Columbia, is everything Lana isn’t: an impulsive free spirit who lives life on the edge. But just as suddenly as Katya enters Lana’s life, she’s gone without a trace... and Lana becomes the key suspect in her disappearance.
