Halford says the consolidation that took place last year, with Discovery and Liberty buying All3Media and Endemol merging with Shine and Core Media, will likely be followed by US majors buying assets overseas. She believes HBO and CBS need to play catch-up with the likes of Google and Amazon, and says Netflix may well have hit a subscriber ceiling stateside.
