Set in Berlin during the 1920s, the series is based on the internationally bestselling novels by German crime writer Volker Kutscher and debuted on October 13.
It is Sky’s first original German series, the first time a commercial network has partnered with public broadcaster ARD and the first foray into television for Perfume director Tykwer and his company X Filme Creative Pool, which produces together with Beta Film.
