ZOE hasn’t smiled in 25 years - ever since her daughter died. Struggling to get by, Zoe works two jobs to support her family. After a quirky accident at home, Zoe has a near death experience in the “in-between”.
When the doctors bring her back to life, Zoe starts receiving visits from dead people who passed on unexpectedly and abruptly. Seeking for closure, they ask her to help them complete their final mission with the living.
Through this journey, Zoe acquires new skills, builds her self esteem, finds her calling and finally the strength to come to terms with the loss of her own child that died 25 years ago.
