Reed Midem names MipTV, Mipcom chief

MipTV and Mipcom organiser Reed Midem has hired Anne de Kerckhove to fill the newly created position of director of the Paris-based company’s entertainment division.

De Kerckhove will oversee the MipTV, Mipcom, Mip Junior and Mipdoc television events and music industry trade show Midem. She will also head new business development, including acquisitions, in the entertainment domain.

Her appointment comes a week after Reed Midem appointed Laurine Garaude as director of its television division, replacing Paul Johnson, who left a year ago.

Garaude, along with Midem director Dominique Leguern and new business development director for entertainment Franz Caduc, will report to de Kerckhove. In turn she will report to Reed Midem CEO Paul Zilk.

De Kerckhove previously held a variety of senior management, strategy and marketing roles at companies including Inspired Gaming Group, 12snap, Boston Consulting Group and the Export Development Corporation of Canada.
