ODMedia dances with YouTube channel

Saskia’s Dansschool will now be managed by ODMedia’s Expoza

Netherlands-based on-demand content services provider ODMedia Group is to take over the running of popular Dutch YouTube channel Saskia’s Dansschool.

The dance and fitness YouTube channel has more than 5.5 million subscribers and has racked up 1.4 billion views. Set up by professional dancer Saskia van Dijk, it encourages children to dance and boost their fitness.

ODMedia’s specialised YouTube division, Expoza, will now handle all aspects of the channel’s online management. Expoza specialises in worldwide copyright, channel-management and revenue-generation strategies on YouTube for premium content creators and owners.

It currently manages copyright and official channels for more than 100 national and international movie distributors and has grown more than 200 YouTube channels across multiple genres.

Saskia’s Dansschool is aiming to progress into digital distribution both locally and globally. “We know Expoza can make that next step a reality,” Van Dijk said. “They not only have the expertise, but they also share our work ethic and drive to inspire, motivate and entertain.

“Now Saskia’s Dansschool’s message of togetherness, inspiration and being able to express yourself is going to reach even more people and I am very excited for that.”

Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of ODMedia Group, added: “We represent the largest Benelux YouTube network featuring children’s content and are incredibly proud to welcome Saskia into our rapidly growing family. As specialists in launching, expanding and curating children’s channels, we are looking forward to further expanding her beautiful message and providing her with the right strategies for her big plans and digital distribution growth.”
