Novovision plays with football

French short-format comedy specialist Novovision has produced a new comedy series featuring comical football clips to tie in with the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Pop Foot (26×22′) features outlandish football-related clips, including professional players getting tangled up with animals whilst on the pitch.

“Among the 135,000 dialogue-free comic clips that we have across all genres, we had great fun putting together all of those that were football-related for Pop Foot, which is perfectly timed for next year’s World Cup,” said François-Xavier Poirier, president of Novovision.

Novovision is also launching Pop Retro (26×13′), which features compilations of black-and-white excerpts without dialogue, including classic sequences from Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, and Laurel and Hardy.
