NiteLite travels with Coral’s Lost Art

LA-based prodco NiteLite Pictures has tapped the former head of coproductions at multi-channel operator UKTV to represent its new food and travel series Fork in the Road.

Meredith Coral

Meredith Coral’s UK-based Lost Art Television has acquired global rights to the series, which follows two hosts as they criss-cross the globe uncovering the ingredients, culture and people who make a city come alive through their love of food.

Each episode will showcase the sights, smells and flavours of different cities with destinations such as Hong Kong, Chicago and London. The series (10×60’) will begin shooting in mid-2020.

NiteLite Pictures’ executive producer Harry Lowell and producer Ari Wilhelm will oversee the project.

Founded by Coral, Lost Art Television specialises in co-funding, pre-sales and ongoing sales agent duties.

Coral was made head of coproductions at UKTV in 2017 having been promoted from her role as head of business development and programme distribution. She left the company at the end of 2018.

“Coral has demonstrated a keen sense of what works for international audiences alongside strong commercial instincts. She brings a wealth of experience and great global relationships to every project,” said Lowell.
