WBD picks up Outfit7’s Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super for Italy and Asia

Talking Tom & Friends is produced by Slovenian video game developer Outfit7

Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) has acquired the latest series from Outfit7’s Talking Tom & Friends kids’ franchise, Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super, for its channels in Italy, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea.

London-based producer and distributor Cake, which distributes Talking Tom & Friends series globally, struck the deal with WBD.

Talking Tom Heroes: Suddenly Super follows Talking Tom and his friends as they discover a strange device that grants them amazing powers. As they take on heroic challenges, they must learn what it truly means to be a hero and save the day.

The Talking Tom & Friends franchise was created by Slovenian video game developer Outfit7. The series are produced in partnership with Epic Story Media and DNEG Group’s ReDefine Originals Studio.

WBD will air the 52-episode series on its Boing SpA channels in Italy, including free-to-air channel Cartoonito and pay TV network Boomerang. In Asia, it will air on Cartoonito.
