The companies have been selected following a competitive application process as part of WBD Access’s Production Incubator development programme. It was rolled out to open pathways for emerging and mid-tier prodcos to work with UK commissioners and executives across WBD’s portfolio.

The three chosen prodcos will each produce a 1×22′ episode for culinary-themed ‘Secrets of the…’ format. Project Must Entertainment is making Secrets of the Caribbean Kitchen, featuring chef Keshia Sakarah; 7Fifty will be supported by Rock Oyster Media to produce Secrets of the Chinese Kitchen; and Double FTV will contribute Secrets of the Fire Kitchen. The episodes will premiere from late October.

Charlotte Reid, VP commissioning, UK and Ireland, at WBD, said: “We have been hugely excited by the response to the programme and the three special episodes are a fantastic demonstration of the creativity, ambition and distinctive storytelling we hoped to uncover for Food Network.

“Each project brings a fresh perspective to the ‘Secrets of the…’ format, celebrating the people, places and personal stories shaping the UK’s food culture today.”
