With the deal, Long Haul will move into the Wasserman Creators division, which is focused on creator talent across sports, music and entertainment.

Long Haul’s LA-based CEO and founder Dan Levitt has been named senior VP of Wasserman Creators. In addition, all Long Haul staff and clients will move across to the division, which was launched in October 2023.

Founded in 2013, Long Haul has been a pioneering company in the sports creator space and was among the first to build out a vast roster of gaming creators before it expanded into sports and then lifestyle. The company was behind many of the early creator-focused partnerships with companies including the NBA, House of Highlights and Overtime.

Clients making the move from Long Haul to Wasserman include YouTuber MatPat, the creator behind the Theorist group of channels; streetball player The Professor; Madden gamer MMG; trick-shot star Tristan Jass; gaming-focused news brand Gameranx; Gen Z basketball player Cam Wilder; and sports and lifestyle creator Crissa Jackson.

Levitt also executive produced the YouTube Red series MatPat’s Game Lab, which won a Streamy award in 2016.

Wasserman, which has worked with Long Haul in various capacities in recent years, was founded 20 years ago. The company manages talent across sports, music, entertainment and others brands and has a presence in around 25 countries, including the US, UK, the Netherlands, Spain, France, Canada, Mexico and Australia.

“Dan is one of the original founding members of the creator representation business, and we are thrilled he decided to bring his knowledge, leadership, and creator advocacy to Wasserman,” said Wasserman’s president of global talent Jason Ranne.

Levitt added that he was “excited to unlock larger opportunities for our clients – turning their next big ideas into ambitious new lines of business – while continuing my mission of helping empower creators.”
