Vice Studios strikes scripted development deal with White Lotus producer Nick Hall

LA-based Vice Studios has struck a development and production deal with Emmy-winning producer Nick Hall, who will develop scripted projects for the company through his Hallogram banner.

Hall, who founded the production and consulting company in 2019, has more than two decades of experience in television, with credits including HBO’s The White Lotus, We Are Who We Are and Enlightened, as well as Industry, The Comeback and Too Old to Die Young.

He also produced the French-language series Icon of French Cinema, a coproduction with A24 and Arte, and Bret Easton Ellis adaptation The Shards for FX/Hulu.

In addition, Hall has held senior creative and leadership positions at HBO, Amazon and A24.

“Nick has a rare combination of great taste, strong instincts and the conviction to take creative risks,” said Vice Studios president Amy Powell, adding that his approach to championing original voices and unconventional material was a natural fit for Vice.
