Universal Studio Group inks first-look deal with Today Show’s Jenna Bush Hager

Universal Studio Group has signed a first-look deal with Today Show host and author Jenna Bush Hager.

Under the partnership, Bush Hager will develop and produce projects with Universal Content Productions, Universal Television, Universal Television Alternative Studio and Universal International Studios for a variety of platforms.

Bush Hager joined Today, the morning news programme on US broadcast network NBC, in 2009 as a correspondent and currently serves as co-host of Today with Hoda & Jenna.

In addition to presenting, Bush Hager founded Today’s book club called #ReadWithJenna. Since its inception in 2019, 30 of Bush Hager’s book club selections have become New York Times bestsellers.

Bush Hager has also written six books including Everything Beautiful in Its Time: Seasons of Love and Loss, a tribute to her grandparents, and Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope, which she wrote following her time in Latin America with charity Unicef.
