NEWS BRIEF: Dutch public broadcaster NPO has acquired 10-part thriller The Five, the first foray into original TV series from best-selling author Harlan Coben.

The show, produced by StudioCanal’s Red Production Company for Sky1 in the UK and also picked up by Canal+ in France and Israeli pay net Yes, will debut on NPO2 in the Netherlands on June 12 as part of a special ‘Detective Month’ season of programming.
