Sternberg to run new Fox channel

In the US, Fox Cable Networks Group has found the general manager for the new action sports channel that it is launching this summer.

David Sternberg has been appointed to the role, one which he will double up with the post of svp of emerging networks. He'll also retain his existing role as gm of Fox Sports World and Fox Sports en Español.

In his new role, Sternberg will work with CJ Olivares, the new action sports channel's head of programming and marketing. The teen-focused channel will cover skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, BMX and MotoCross.
