Sphere Abacus acquires feature doc Kubrick’s War: The Making of Full Metal Jacket

Kubrick’s War: The Making of Full Metal Jacket is being made by North South Film Company

UK-based distribution company Sphere Abacus has acquired the worldwide distribution rights for the new feature documentary Kubrick’s War: The Making of Full Metal Jacket.

The film will be produced by UK production company North South Film Company, in association with US-based Supercloud Studios and New York City production company Cinco Dedos Peliculas, owned by producers Matthew Modine and Adam Rackoff.

The 1×125’ feature-length documentary explores the making of Stanley Kubrick’s landmark Vietnam War film, Full Metal Jacket. In a series of interviews with 30 cast and crew members and as-yet unheard recordings of Kubrick himself, the notoriously private filmmaker guides us through the film’s journey to screen.
