Spain’s Clan TV puts on PJ Masks

Hasbro is developing a new toy line for PJ Masks

Spanish broadcaster Clan TV has struck a deal with Hasbro-owned Entertainment One (eOne) for the first two seasons of preschool superhero series PJ Masks.

Produced by eOne and Frog Box, in collaboration with Disney Junior and France 5, the show follows the exploits of a group of young friends who transform into superheroes when they put on their pyjamas.

The deal for seasons one and two of PJ Masks, which is currently in its fifth season, comes after Clan TV took preschool shows Peppa Pig and Ricky Zoom from eOne.

Monica Candiani, executive VP of content sales at eOne, said PJ Masks’ launch on Clan TV is being supported by a new toy line developed and launched by Hasbro.

“We are confident that our audiences will very much enjoy PJ Masks and we are excited to work with eOne to launch the brand on our channel,” said Alessia Di Giacomo, who works in kids’ content business development at Clan TV.
