Sky New Zealand shifts into gear for new disability series Licence to Drive

Sweet Productions’ Licence to Drive

Pay TV broadcaster Sky New Zealand has commissioned a six-part factual series from local disability-led organisation Sweet Productions for its Sky Open channel.

Licence to Drive depicts the challenges and triumphs of a group of disabled New Zealanders as they learn to drive. Each has their own motivations for getting behind the wheel, whether they are first-timers or are returning after suffering a life-altering injury.

The show will be available to stream in New Zealand on Neon and Sky Go after its premiere on Sky Open at 19.30 on July 2. It was made with the support of NZ On Air.
