Simpson to manage Fox talent relations

US network Fox Entertainment has hired a senior VP of talent relations as part of a rebuild of its talent unit.

Lisa Simpson will oversee the talent relations team and provide strategic support to the company’s talent and their representatives.

Simpson joins Fox from Entertainment Weeky, InStyle and People magazines, where she was responsible for determining annual event strategy, industry partnerships and strategic brand initiatives within the Hollywood creative community.

Prior to that, she was senior talent exec on talkshow Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she booked all the talent appearing on the show.

Earlier this week, Fox appointed two senior VPs for its comedy and animation departments. Julia Franz joined as senior VP for comedy, with Daniel Weidenfeld taking up the same role for animation.
