Showtime adopts BBC’s Ill Behaviour

Ill Behaviour was written by Sam Bain

Showtime in the US has acquired UK comedy-thriller Ill Behaviour from BBC Worldwide.

The six-part drama, which debuted in the UK on the BBC’s VoD service iPlayer before airing on BBC2 earlier this year, will begin broadcasting in the US on November 13.

It follows a man who, wary of modern medicine, is held captive by his friends who decide to administer the drugs that could save him.

The series was written by Sam Bain (Peep Show, Fresh Meat), who is also an executive producer, and comes from Fudge Park Productions.

It stars Chris Geere (You’re the Worst), Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex) and Tom Riley (DaVinci’s Demons).
