Scotland’s STV readies first vodcast series The STV Radio Football Show

Scottish commercial broadcaster STV is set to launch its first visual podcast series, weekly Scottish soccer show The STV Radio Football Show, with radio DJ Ewen Cameron and sports journalist Ronnie Charters presenting.

Launching on October 27, it will be available on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and STV Player, while highlights will stream across STV Radio’s social channels. Produced by Callum Bell, The STV Radio Football Show will see Cameron and Charters recap the weekend’s best soccer stories from the Scottish leagues, as well as news from the national team’s World Cup qualifying campaign.

STV is going ahead with its plans to launch STV Radio in the coming months, despite the Glasgow-based company last month announcing that 60 jobs are at risk due to the “difficult trading environment” caused by the ongoing UK commissioning slump and soft advertising market.
