RTV scores Ravensburger block on Super RTL

German kids' producer RTV Family Entertainment has signed a deal with Super RTL for a Ravensburger TV block in the channel, totalling 12 hours per week.

Airing from 09:00-11:00 Sundays through Fridays, the block will contain RTV's animation and live-action series, alongside the Ravensburger Blue Triangle brand. The block will begin airing from June 3, 2001.

Shows included in the block will be Sweat, Clowning Around and Enid Blyton – Secret Series for the Sunday block, while weekdays will feature the German premieres of shows like Timothy Goes to School, Donkey Kong Country and Flying Rhino Junior High, as well as Rotten Ralph and Brothers Flub.

The move follows a comprehensive co-production and programme licence deal signed between the two companies in February 2000.
