Reshet 13 returns to Red Skies for second season

NEWS BRIEF: Israeli broadcaster Reshet 13 has commissioned a second season of action drama Red Skies, ahead of the first season’s debut in mid-June.

The 8×50’ military thriller was created by Euphoria producer Ron Lesham and has received financial backing from Access Entertainment, the investment firm run by former BBC director of television Danny Cohen. Cohen and Len Blavatnik exec produce Red Skies, which is based on the book of the same name by Daniel Shinar. Set during the Second Intifada (2000-2005), it tells the story of two friends forced to choose sides during the Israel-Palestine conflict.
