Red Arrow hires Sky Vision exec

Red Arrow Studios International has added the former head of factual and factual entertainment acquisitions at distributor Sky Vision to its team in London.

Niki Page takes up the newly created role of VP of factual at the ProSiebenSat.1-owned company, with responsibility for non-scripted acquisitions outside of North America.

Page spent six years heading factual at Sky Vision before the company was absorbed into NBCUniversal Global Distribution last year following Comcast’s buy-out of the sales arm’s pay TV parent.

Red Arrow was itself put up for sale last year, with All3Media the leading contender, but the sale process is still rumbling on.

During her time at Sky Vision, Page brokered a first-look deal with Escape to the Chateau producer Spark Media Partners and acquired adventurer Levison Wood’s series including Walking the Nile and Walking the Himalayas. She also worked with Sky-owned prodcos including Blast Films and Love Productions.

Prior to Sky, she worked at Fremantle International on Jamie Oliver programming and in-house produced series including Grand Designs and Escape to the Country. In her new role she will report to Alex Fraser, Red Arrow Studios International’s exec VP of acquisitions and content investment.

Shirley Bowers, VP of sales and acquisitions for North America, Australia and New Zealand, will continue to manage non-scripted acquisitions in North America.
