Red Arrow aims for Israeli creative

Red Arrow Entertainment Group, ProSiebenSat.1’s international unit, has concluded a multi-year development agreement with Israeli television creative Omri Marcus.

Under the terms of the partnership, Red Arrow will have exclusive access to Marcus’s formats and developments across all platforms on a worldwide basis. SevenOne International, ProSieben’s worldwide distribution arm, will manage the sale of Marcus’s formats.

Recently, Marcus was a senior writer on an Israeli comedy panel show and has consulted for Israeli production companies in scouting formats. Previously, he was a director in the development department of Israel’s Channel 2, and is credited with the creation of the dating series Buzz Off, recently sold into France, Spain, Ireland and China.

Jan Frouman, Red Arrow’s group MD, said: “Our partnership with Omri is part of an ongoing strategy to broaden our relationships with top creative talent throughout the international TV community.”
