ProSieben finds True Love with MTV

True Love or True Lies?

NEWS BRIEF: German broadcaster ProSieben has commissioned a local version of ViacomCBS-owned MTV format True Love or True Lies? to be produced by ITV Studios Germany.

ProSieben’s version, titled How Fake is Your Love? and shot on the island of Mallorca, is the first adaptation of the MTV format since it launched in the UK, produced by Lime Pictures, in 2018. The competitive dating format brings diverse couples – some real and some fake – together in a luxurious villa to compete for a cash prize.
