Peacock renews US Traitors for three more seasons in wake of Emmy wins

The latest series of The Traitors US was its best rated so far

NBCUniversal-owned US streamer Peacock has renewed the American version of The Traitors for a further three seasons.

The reality series will air at least three more seasons in the US, in addition to the 2027 version, with Studio Lambert producing and Alan Cumming returning as host.

The show won best Reality Competition Series for the third year in a row at the Emmys this week and six other awards – the most in a single year for a competition series.

Peacock concluded its most recent season with its biggest ratings to-date. Since its January 8 premiere, the series garnered 8.1 billion minutes viewed and ranks as the number-two streaming original reality series of 2026 so far by minutes viewed.

The format was originally devised by IDTV and RTL in the Netherlands and is distributed by All3Media International, which is now part of Banijay.
