NEWS BRIEF: ViacomCBS-owned US streamer Paramount+ has renewed its drama anthology series Why Women Kill for a third season, produced by CBS Studios and Imagine Television Studios.

The dark comedy, created by Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives, Devious Maids), was set in 1949 for season two and explored what it means to be beautiful and the hidden truth behind the facades people present to the world.
