OTF preps first Cannes slate since ZDFE buyout

Terra Mater Factual Studios’ Borneo: Earth’s Ancient Isle

Off the Fence (OTF) is set to make its first trip to Cannes since being acquired by Germany’s ZDF Enterprises (ZDFE) with a slate including content from Red Bull subsidiary Terra Mater Factual Studios.

The Amsterdam-based producer and distributor linked up with Terra Mater Factual Studios last month and will be at MipDoc and MipTV next week shopping shows including Whale Wisdom (1×60′), Borneo: Earth’s Ancient Isle (1×60′) and The Sun: Inferno in the Sky (1×60′).

OTF, which was acquired by ZDFE earlier this year, will also bring Impossible Factual’s The Green Book: Guide to Freedom (1×60′) via its exclusive partnership with Smithsonian Channel.

The documentary comes after the recent success of Oscar-winning feature film The Green Book.

Meanwhile, OTF recently saw its exclusive distribution agreement with US lifestyle broadcaster WE tv renewed and will also be selling shows such as Love After Lock Up, Growing up Hip Hop and Growing up Hip Hop: Atlanta in Cannes.
