Newly formed Lionsgate Alternative Television signs with talent agency UTA

Lionsgate Alternative Television, which was formed this month after Lionsgate’s acquisition of Entertainment One (eOne)’s unscripted business, has signed with talent agency UTA.

Lionsgate Alternative Television comprises Pilgrim Media Group, Renegade 83, Blackfin, Daisybeck Studios and eOne’s US and UK unscripted groups.

Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning producer Craig Piligian assumed the role of MD of the newly restructured unit following Lionsgate’s recent acquisition of eOne.

Gretchen Stockdale serves as president, Nicholas Caprio holds the post of exec VP and David Garfinkle and Jay Renfroe are senior executives.
