Netflix renews animated production pact with Big Mouth producer

Netflix has renewed its content deal with Brutus Pink, the animation production company behind its series Big Mouth and Human Resources, for another three years.

The multi-year extension will see Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett’s prodco continue to develop and produce new animated projects for the streamer through to 2026.

Netflix began working with Brutus Pink seven years ago and the prodco has made five seasons of hit comedy Big Mouth for the streamer, with the sixth season due to launch this fall. Human Resources, a spin-off of Big Mouth, launches its second season on Netflix next year.

“Since signing our first deal with Brutus Pink, Big Mouth has grown from a fan favourite to one of the most beloved animated franchises across the globe,” said John Derderian, VP of animated series at Netflix.

“We know we’re in excellent hands with the team at Brutus Pink and can’t wait to see them create the next generation of hit animated series.”
