Mondo boards Enanimation’s Nina & Olga

Mondo TV Iberoamerica, part of European producer and distributor Mondo TV, is joining as a coproduction partner on Italian animation studio Enanimation’s new series Nina & Olga.

Nina & Olga is based on the Olga the Cloud brand

Prodco and distributor Mondo TV Iberoamerica operates in Spain, Portugal, Latin America and Spanish-speaking US. It has joined forces with Enanimation through its subsidiary Mondo TV Producciones Canarias.

Nina & Olga is a 52×7′ 2D animation for four- to six-year-olds, based on the Olga the Cloud preschool brand created by Nicoletta Costa. Costa first introduced Olga the Cloud to audiences through a storybook in 1982, since which more than 80 titles have been published.

The series is due to launch on Rai Ragazzi, Italian pubcaster Rai’s kids’ channel, in spring 2021.

Mondo TV Producciones Canarias will share the pre-production phase of the show, while parent Mondo TV is responsible for the animation.

Enanimation will have exclusive rights throughout the world, except for Mondo TV Producciones Canarias territories Portugal, Latin America and Spanish-speaking US.
