Michael Hyon Johnson re-joins Electric Ent as director of operations for ElectricNOW

LA-based production and distribution company Electric Entertainment (EE) has named Michael Hyon Johnson as director of operations for ElectricNOW, its OTT app and free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel.

Reporting to Steve Saltman, head of domestic sales, Hyon Johnson will manage the day-to-day maintenance of the app and channel.

He will also serve as the main point of contact for all platform operations and programming, in addition to liaising between streaming services such as Amazon Freevee, The Roku Channel, Sling, and Xumo.

It will be Hyon Johnson’s second tenure at EE, having previously held the position of manager of TV and streaming operations between 2019 and 2021.

Prior to re-joining the company, Hyon Johnson served as director of media production at MLG Attorneys at Law, where he conceptualised and developed the creative vision for video projects.

His previous roles include content production manager at Koji, and video producer for Immortal Esports.

EE produces content such as comedy crime drama Leverage (TNT), spin-off Leverage: Redemption (Freevee), and Almost Paradise (WGN America).
