The Rose d’Or Latinos 2025 winners pose with their prizes

CONTENT AMERICAS: Colombia’s Caracol Televisión claimed a pair of prizes and Mexico was the most awarded country at the second edition of the Rose d’Or Latinos Awards, which took place here in Miami as part of Content Americas on Tuesday evening.

Caracol’s wins came in the telenovela and reality show categories, which were won by Devuélveme la Vida and Desafío 20 años respectively.

Mexican projects took home four statuettes: Los 43 de Ayotzinapa: un Crimen de Estado, by Max and PAR Media, won best docuseries; Radical (3Pas Studios, The Lift and ViX) won best film; Spotify’s Mexican podcast Caso 63: Enigma won in the audio category; and Me caigo de risa S9 (Endemol Shine Boomdog and Televisa) took best comedy or variety entertainment content.

Meanwhile, Spain took three awards, Colombia took two, and Argentina, Brazil and Chile all received one award.

Argentinian drama series Iosi, el espía Arrepentido from Amazon Prime Video and Oficina Burman, part of The Mediapro Studio, was one of the big winners of the night, taking best drama award for its second season. It beat off competition in the category from Familia de Medianoche (Apple TV+), Rapa S3 (Movistar Plus+), Las Azules (Apple TV+), Ciudad de Dios: La lucha no para (Max) and Memento Mori (Prime Video).

In other scripted categories, Spanish series Tierra de Mujeres (Apple TV+, Bambú Producciones, UnbeliEVAble and Hyphenate Media Group) won best comedy or dramedy, while La Mesías (Movistar Plus+, Suma Content), also from Spain, was best miniseries or limited series. In unscripted, Spanish title 100% Únicos (Shine Iberia and Mediaset España) was named best factual show.

For the first time, this year’s awards separated the children’s and youth categories. Brazilian series Perfekta (Mixer Films, Globo) won best children’s content and Chilean title Baby Bandito (Fábula, Netflix) took best youth programme.

In addition to the awards chosen by the jury, the Rose d’Or Latinos presented this year’s lifetime achievement award to Mexican actor, director and producer Eugenio Derbez, who was recognised for titles such as the award-winning Radical, Acapulco and No se Entregan Devoluciones (Instructions Not Included).
