Little Dot Studios expands its digital offering with factual content acquisition

Arte/SWR documentary Jungle Midwives of Columbia

All3Media-owned Little Dot Studios (LDS) in the UK has acquired 40 hours of factual content for its suite of YouTube and FAST channels, after a deal with German distributor and digital channels operator Quintus Studios.

LDS has taken three seasons of Mega Transports (18×60’, Welt, RMC, Discovery, A&E), Behind Bars (6×60’, Discovery, A&E, N-TV) and Ultimate Vehicles (6×60’, N24, RMC, Discovery), all produced by Maximus Film; plus the Arte/SWR doc Jungle Midwives of Columbia (1×60’).

Also included in the deal are the Quintus originals Beyond Borders (5×60’), Most Mysterious Places in the World (1×60’), World’s Most Dangerous Rescues (1×60) and Crisis in Cocaine Valley (1×60’).

All crime titles will screen on LDS’s Real Crime FAST channel, while the remaining titles will stream on the company’s YouTube channels including Real Stories, Real Crime, Real Responders, Spark, Wonder, Absolute Documentaries and Absolute Sci Fi.
