Lionsgate-owned unscripted prodco Pilgrim Media Group has forged an exclusive unscripted pact with 2500 Media, the production banner launched earlier this year by former WME partner and packaging agent Sean Perry.

The companies said the partnership will allow LA-based 2500 Media to “immediately plug into” the worldwide development and production staff at Pilgrim Media, which is led by CEO and chair Craig Piligian.

The deal also includes a scripted component that will see 2500 Media working with Lionsgate Television.

Launched this summer, 2500 Media is focused on unscripted series, docs and scripted. Perry, who serves as founder and CEO of the new entity, previously founded Endeavor’s unscripted department and played a key role in the growth of companies such as Eureka Productions and Original Productions, in addition to World Wrestling Entertainment.

Other companies and creatives under talent deals with Lionsgate include BBC Studios; Robert Greenblatt; Rashida Jones and Will McCormack’s Le Train Train; Eric and Kim Tannenbaum’s The Tannenbaum Company; Paul Feig’s Feigco Entertainment; and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures.

Perry said that as he looked for ways to supercharge his company’s growth, “it was clear that locking arms with Lionsgate and Pilgrim was the best and fastest way to accomplish our goals.”

Piligian, who is also the president of Lionsgate Non-fiction Television, added: “After working with Sean for more than two decades, I am thrilled to extend and expand our successful relationship. His industry expertise, creative and business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit make him the perfect partner for us.”
