Knowledge Net’s interim chief stays on

NEWS BRIEF: Rudy Buttignol, interim CEO and president of Canada’s Knowledge Network, is taking on the role permanently.

The former TV Ontario commissioning editor, who stepped in as temporary chief of the public broadcaster in April, following the departure of Bill Harlan, has confirmed he will take the role on a permanent basis.

The Knowledge Network produces more than 50 hours of original programming each year, reaching around 1.5 million viewers – more than a third of British Columbia’s population.
