Kinetic Content hires First Dates creator Ana de Moraes as creative director of UK arm

Kinetic Content, the US-based production company behind unscripted franchises including Love Is Blind and Married at First Sight, has hired First Dates creator Ana de Moraes as creative director at its recently launched UK division.

De Moraes joins from ITV Studios-owned Multistory Media, where she has worked for eight years, most recently as chief creative officer. At Multistory, she oversaw a slate including Scared of the Dark for Channel 4, The Big Flower Fight for Netflix, Project Icon for the BBC, Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear for ITV and Dubai Hustle for the BBC.

The exec also previously worked at Twofour Group, Twenty Twenty Television and the BBC, after starting her career at Endemol in 2003.

Kinetic Content, which is backed by Peter Chernin’s The North Road Company, expanded into the UK last month with the launch of Kinetic UK, led by MD Laura Gibson.
