Japan’s Nippon TV takes 25 Years of You, Punch-Drunk Woman to Cannes

Japan’s Nippon TV will shop two new scripted series to buyers at next month’s Mipcom, romantic thrillers 25 Years of You and Punch-Drunk Woman.

25 Years of You (10×60′) stars Hokuto Matsumura as a loner who has been in love with the same woman all his life and must protect her amid family secrets and a corporate conspiracy.

Punch-Drunk Woman (S1 10×60′, S2 5×60′), meanwhile, stars Ryoko Shinohara as a corrections officer who encounters a convicted murderer holding a long-buried secret.
