ITV hands celeb chef James Martin series renewal and two new commissions

James Martin’s Saturday Morning features popular recipes and celebrity guests

UK commercial broadcaster ITV has extended cooking series James Martin’s Saturday Morning into 2027, whilst also commissioning two new shows featuring the chef.

James Martin’s Italian Adventure and James Martin Quick ‘N’ Easy, produced by Blue Martin’s for ITV, are both also set to launch in 2027.

James Martin’s Saturday Morning, in which Martin explores popular recipes alongside celebrity guests, is being extended after a successful year. According to ITV, it saw 5.3 million streams on ITVX in the first half of 2026, up 18% year-on-year.

James Martin’s Italian Adventure, airing in early evenings on ITV1 and streaming on ITVX, follows Martin along the country’s historic Mille Miglia route. The series will air on the 100th anniversary of the first motor race to take place on the route in 1927 and combines the chef’s love of fast cars and Italian food.

James Martin’s Quick ‘N’ Easy is set to air on Saturday mornings and will see the chef cook up recipes whilst sharing tips on the best ways to save time in the kitchen.
