Discovery, RTS meet France’s Joey

That’s Joey is based on Thierry Coppée’s comic book series

International broadcasters including Discovery Kids and Switzerland’s RTS have picked up 3D animated series That’s Joey! from French sales house Superights.

Discovery Kids has bagged the series for broadcast across the MENA region, with RTBF in French-speaking Belgium also picking up the title, which is being made for French broadcaster M6.

That’s Joey! has also been acquired by RTI in Ivory Coast and Kidzone in the Baltic region, as well as Swiss pubcaster RTS.

The series is produced by France’s Superprod alongside Digital Graphics, Atmosphere and Planeta Junior and is based on Thierry Coppée’s comic book series. That’s Joey! is aimed at six- to nine-year-olds and follows the adventures of an imaginative young child.

Developed and produced in partnership with M6, the show’s final production stages are now being completed at Superprod’s studios in Paris and Angouleme, and at Digital Graphics in Belgium.
