Moonscoop titles heading to Hoopla include seasons one and two of Code Lyoko (52×26′), about a group of students turned action heroes, and season one of Tara Duncan (26×22′), which follows a teenage girl with magical powers.

Additional Moonscoop titles in preschool and pre-teen will debut on the platform, which is available in the US and Canada, in the coming months.

Hoopla started in 2012 and offers US public library card holders streaming movies, television shows, music and audiobooks. The service is still in beta.

It has recently made a similar content deal with Canada’s DHX Media.

“Hoopla delivers premium content to its audience and represents another outlet that will serve to enhance the visibility of our content in the marketplace,” said Moonscoop’s VP of licensing and digital distribution in North America, David Di Lorenzo.

The deal follows increased interest in children’s content among digital buyers at this month’s MipTV.
