HBO Max commissions French original dramas Rush and Bodycam

US-based streamer HBO Max has ordered two new French originals, medical drama Rush and police thriller Bodycam.

Rush is an 8×45’ set in Paris centring on close-knit mobile medical teams working across the city.

It was created by Nils-Antoine Sambuc who co-wrote the series with Gaëlle Bellan, Maya Haffar and Maxime Crupeaux. Neal Baer is executive producing and the show is produced by Morgane Le Moine, François Lardenois and Nathan Franck.

Bodycam (8×30’) follows two officers hunting down a teen they shot and wounded in an incident caught on missing bodycam footage.

The series is the creation of Timothée Hochet and Benjamin Adam, with the collaboration of Mehdi Ouahab. It is co-written by Hélène Faure and Maxime Berthémy and produced by Jean Dathanat and Pierre Grimaux.

Both shows will go into production this autumn.
