GammaTime names DramaBox, COL alum Amy Sullivan head of development

Amy Sullivan

US-based microseries platform GammaTime has appointed former DramaBox and COL Group exec Amy Sullivan as its new head of development.

In the new role, Sullivan will lead development for the fast-growing microdrama company, which has inked a spate of content deals as well as recently securing an investment from US media company Versant.

Over the past three years, Sullivan has held several titles in the vertical video space. Initially she was an in-house writer and showrunner for Pocket FM, before being promoted to creative director, a role that saw her shepherding more than 15 projects per quarter.

She later became head of development at COL Group, where she shepherded a slate of shows for its microseries app Flareflow, before moving to DramaBox as head of development. During her time at Flareflow, she worked on romantic comedy Oops I Married My Bestie’s Brother, which garnered 220 million views within the first 10 days of launch.

Earlier in her career, she worked on shows including This Is Us, The Boys and Not Dead Yet.

LA-based GammaTime was co-founded last year by former Miramax CEO Bill Block alongside All3Media, Discovery and Quibi alum Alex Montalvo and ex-Google exec Slava Mudrykh.
