Fox renews Bless the Harts

Fox animated comedy Bless the Harts will return

US broadcast network Fox has renewed its latest primetime animation series, Bless the Harts, for a second season.

The show was created by Emmy winner Emily Spivey (The Last Man on Earth, Parks & Recreation) and joined Fox’s Sunday night adult animation block in September.

Featuring a voice cast of comedians including Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Jillian Bell, Ike Barinholtz and Kumail Nanjiani, a second run has now been greenlit for the 2020/21 season.

The half-hour series follows follows the Harts, a Southern family who are forever struggling to make ends meet.

The show is a coproduction by Fox Entertainment and 20th Century Fox Television. Animation is produced by Titmouse.
