Bermudez-Key will be tasked with managing the company’s sales and distribution strategy across the Lat Am region and the US Hispanic market, including Puerto Rico. She will report to MGM’s executive VP of international television distribution for Asia Pacific and Latin America, Matt Vassallo.

Prior to joining MGM, Bermudez-Key was the Latin America general manager at professional wrestling-focused media company WWE, where she oversaw strategic business initiatives and day-to-day operations in the region.

Her remit also included working across live events, marketing, sponsorship, licensing and merchandising, gaming, local talent development and the WWE Network. She held the role from July 2020 to June 2021.

Before that she spent six years as senior VP and GM of NBCUniversal International Networks, overseeing the Latin American joint venture between NBCUniversal and Ole Communications.

She also spent 15 years with Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), most recently as senior VP and GM for SPE Networks Latin America, where her portfolio included Sony Entertainment Television, AXN and Sony Spin.

“Klaudia is a talented and innovative executive with a wide-ranging understanding of the global distribution marketplace, its challenges and opportunities” said Vassallo and Chris Ottinger, MGM’s president of worldwide television distribution and acquisition, in a joint statement.

“Her expertise and deep relationships will be central to MGM’s continued growth in the Lat Am and US Hispanic markets across all entertainment platforms and services.”
