Launched last October by Eero Hietala, Lasse Koskinen and Ilkka Hynninen, Take Two Studios focuses on the origination, development and production of high-end, high-concept drama, documentaries and podcasts.

Norberg, who will be responsible for the delivery of all of the company’s productions, has 20 years’ experience in the entertainment industry, most recently as CEO and executive producer at Finnish indie Cinematic.

While at Cinematic, Norberg was in charge of action thriller Omerta 6/12, which included a feature film released last November and a four-episode series premiering on CMore later this year. Under her tenure, the company also released period drama film Helene and produced a remake of animated film Comet in Moominland.

Norberg began her management career in the film industry as a line producer and production manager at Making Movies, before moving to Sandrew Metronome where she served as production manager in theatrical distribution.

Before Cinematic, Norberg was CEO of the Korjaamo Group, which operated cultural and business centre Korjaamo Culture Factory. Previously she oversaw Finland’s biggest film festival, Helsinki IFF – Love and Anarchy, for six years.

Take Two Studios is currently in development on a range of projects and has also optioned BBC Studios’ scripted dramas Luther and Doctor Foster for the local market. The prodco’s pipeline includes crime series 506 Grams of Ural Snow, based on the disappearance of a young man in Russia.

Norberg said: “After my many years in various leader positions in the entertainment industry, I feel I am finding a real home at Take Two Studios.

“We have a perfect team of partners with diverse experience in business, programming, production and developing ideas to audiences. With the knowledge of both the Finnish industry and the international content business, our slate consists of versatile projects for both local and international audiences. We are especially inspired by stories based on true events and are planning to launch a podcast network that will work as a testing ground and IP creation vehicle for our content.”
