ERT, Pickbox among latest occupants of Long Story TV’s Hope Street

Hope Street follows police officers in a Northern Irish seaside town

Greek pubcaster ERT and Pickbox in Eastern Europe and the latest buyers of Long Story TV’s Northern Irish crime drama Hope Street.

ERT has licensed seasons one to five (51×60’) from local distributor Tanweer Alliances, while Pickbox has picked up seasons one to three (35×60’) for its SVoD platform PickBox Now and TV channel Pickbox 1 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia and Slovenia.

Pickbox acquired the series from worldwide distributor Sphere Abacus, part of Canada’s Bell Media, which also sold seasons four and five (16×60’) to Canadian broadcaster TVO and American Public Television in the US.

Additionally, BritBox has picked up season five for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, having previously acquired seasons one to four for the Nordics.

Hope Street follows the fortunes of a team of police officers as they investigate crimes in a Northern Irish seaside town. Created by Susanne Farrell and Paul Marquess, it was commissioned by BritBox and UK pubcaster the BBC.
