NEWS BRIEF: MGM-owned premium US cablenet Epix has renewed its 1980s period dramedy Bridge & Tunnel for a second season, directed and produced by Edward Burns and Aaron Lubin and due to premiere next year.

The 6×30’ series revolves around a group of college graduates pursuing their dreams in Manhattan while clinging to the familiarity of their working-class Long Island home town. It is produced by Epix Studios and distributed internationally by MGM.
